How It Works
My passion is providing custom products that are personal to the person receiving them – either you, or the person receiving them as gifts. So, I hand-sew and embroider every product once it’s ordered to ensure it’s exactly what you envision!
Standard Process
In general, the following process is used to make your custom item, but each type of product may have a slight variation in the process, so please refer to each item below for the step-by-step instructions for that item.
Throws, Baby & Youth Blankets
We have a variety of sizes for baby & youth blankets and throw blankets. The process is similar for both - you’ll pick your size, exterior pattern and interior solid color, and add optional embroidery. Here are some helpful tips to keep in mind:
Each size of blanket is a separate product, so you’ll want to pick your size first and select the corresponding product, and then select your options for that item. We have also grouped pattern options by category (for example, florals), and each category of prints is a separate product.
You’ll select your interior solid color after you add the item to your shopping cart.
To add custom embroidery, you’ll need to add the text you’d like to add to your item after you add the item to your shopping cart. You’ll also need to add the embroidery product to your shopping cart.
Size Options Include:
18" x 18" Small Baby Blanket – This small carry blanket is the perfect size to keep in a diaper bag or in the car.
28" x 34" Newborn-Toddler Blanket – This is our standard size for baby blankets and is perfect for newborn babies through the toddler years. It’s perfect to swaddle, cover a car seat, and for your baby/toddler to carry on their own.
34" x 46" Toddler Blanket – This is the perfect size and material for a toddler bed.
46" x 58" Adult Throw – This youth/adult throw blanket is the perfect size for the back of couch, to keep in the car and to take to sporting events.
58" x 70" Large Adult Throw – This is our standard size for throw blankets, as it’s large enough to cover two. It also covers a twin bed.
Ribbon Tag Baby Blankets
These blankets are great items for babies, as they explore the different colors, shapes and textures of the material and ribbon. They are made with our soft and durable minky material and measure approximately 9”x9”. These “taggies” are the perfect item to compliment a baby blanket for a baby gift, especially when made with matching patterns! To order, you’ll pick the pattern and solid color, and add any customized embroidery.
T-Shirt Quilts
A T-shirt quilt is a great way to preserve memories in a functional and beautiful way! We combine 12-42 shirts (depending on the quilt size you’d like) to make a quilt that your loved one can keep forever! Dig out those shirts piled in a closet or tucked away in storage and let me help you turn them into a one-of-a-kind quilt!
Here are some helpful tips to keep in mind:
I can make several sizes of T-shirt quilts (see below), and the number of shirts you need will depend on that size. Each shirt will be cut down into squares that I’ll use to make the quilt.
If we are using youth-sized shirts, I may need extra shirts, or I may need to add a colored border around your quilt to ensure it’s the proper size for what you’d like to use it for.
Once I get the shirts, I will cut them into the squares, so please send whole shirts.
Each shirt front is a completely separate "square" from the shirt back, so please be sure to mark which side(s) you’d like to include in the quilt. You can just place a piece of tape on the side(s) of the shirt you’d like me to use.
Size Options Include:
T-Shirt Quilt – Rectangular Throw: Requires 12 shirts that will be placed 3 by 4 (3 shirts in a row by 4 rows).
T-Shirt Quilt – Square Throw: Uses 16 shirts that will be placed in squares 4 by 4 (4 shirts in a row by 4 rows).
T-Shirt Quilt – Twin: Uses 24 shirt squares placed in a 4 by 6 pattern (4 shirts in a row by 6 rows).
T-Shirt Quilt – Full: Requires 30 shirts, which will be placed 5 by 6 (5 shirts in a row by 6 rows).
T-Shirt Quilt – Queen: Uses 42 shirts, placed in a 6 by 7 pattern (6 shirts in a row by 7 rows).
Memory Pillows
Memory Pillows are a great way to preserve memories of loved ones who have passed. We’ll transform a loved one’s shirt into a pillow that you can keep forever. These are great gifts for friends and family members who have lost a loved one.
The pillow size will range depending on the shirt size, but generally range from 14”x14” to 20”x20”. We’ll add a handmade memory patch of your choice – either a heart or a square. The process is simple for these pillows – you just select which patch you’d like and purchase the pillow(s)drop, then drop off or mail the shirt(s) you’d like to transform.
Baby Loveys
I buy high-quality Carter’s animal blankets, commonly known as “loveys,” and add custom embroidery to make it a special and personal gift. These are the perfect personalized gift for a baby, especially when paired with an embroidered blanket and/or ribbon tag blanket!
Crib Sheets
I make standard-size crib sheets out of a soft and long-lasting flannel material. This process is simple - you just pick one of my premade sheets, or you can custom order from available fabrics.
